Here to watch with you.

A little pixel cat that lives on your YouTube captions, for the long podcasts, the slow talks and every hour of listening practice.

So the thing nobody tells you about learning a language is

Made for the long listens.

CaptionCat started on YouTube, learning English from podcasts. Hours of people sitting and talking: good for the ears, a little lonely for everything else. So I put a cat on the captions.

It doesn't ask for anything. It wanders along the subtitles, washes its face, chases a red dot when it gets bored, and dozes off at the edge when the talk runs long. Now and then it looks up at what was just said.

It's drawn after Jinghua, a real tuxedo cat.
